Hello, I'm Ute Lörch
I am a mental fitness and wellbeing coach who guides people with burnout, anxiety, depression, chronic illnesses and chronic pain to change their mental patterns, body posture and language patterns leading amore regulated nervous system and to improved health, more energy and oomph in their lives.
High performance and mental fitness are intrinsically linked, as the ability to function at one's best often hinges on the strength and resilience of the mind. Strengthening mental fitness involves cultivating a mindset that is adaptable, focused, and resilient in the face of challenges. As individuals bolster their mental fitness, they often experience increased confidence and motivation, which can propel them toward achieving their personal, health and professional goals. Moreover, a strong mental fitness foundation can foster a positive outlook, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being, creating a ripple effect that benefits various aspects of life.
My or 'why' is encapsulated in the following three words: "Connect. Matter. Sparkle."
My mission is to empower and guide individuals to connect deeply with themselves and others, make meaningful contributions that truly matter, and embrace the joy and brilliance of life.
My vision is to create a world where every individual experiences profound connections, feels valued and impactful, and radiates their unique brilliance and celebrates the joy of living a fulfilled and sparkling life.
My Story
From Burnout to Breakthrough - Not every Story starts with Once Upon a Time
In 2018, I found myself at a crossroad. After almost a year of dedicating myself to an intense work schedule of 80-hour weeks, my body and mind began to signal distress in ways I could no longer ignore. Dizziness became a constant companion, as well as panic attacks and I watched as weight gain, hormonal imbalances, fatigue, and sleep issues crept into my life. The final straw was a frozen shoulder that stubbornly refused to heal, lingering for an agonising 2.5 years.
Desperate for relief, I sought help from a myriad of specialists—specialists medical doctors, osteopaths, physiotherapists, acupuncturists, and kinesiologists. Yet, despite their efforts, true healing didn't happen. It wasn’t until I discovered visualisation techniques through an NLP coach that I began to see a glimmer of hope. This approach resonated deeply with me, and it marked the beginning of my transformation back to a healthy being with more vitality. In this process I worked on my surpressed emotions and within a short period of time my shoulder relaxed and let go.
Inspired by my own healing journey, I embarked on a new path. Just a month after my initial breakthrough, I enrolled in a coaching diploma program. Over the next two years, I dedicated myself to becoming an Advanced Master Practitioner in Coaching, NLP, and Hypnotherapy.
My thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there—I also became a Positive Intelligence Practitioner and immersed myself in three neuroscience courses with Dr. Sarah McKay.
Additionally, I qualified as an IEMT (Integral Eye Movement) Practitioner, expanding my toolkit for helping others even more. My learning journey hasn't stopped, with me consistently learning new skills, reading books and attending conferences, as well as regularly refreshing my neuro science skills through the Neuroscience Academy. I have also done a course on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and received a certificate from NICABM for trauma and how to work with shame.
Today, my work is a synthesis of these diverse modalities, focusing on the regulation of the nervous system and the toning of the Vagus nerve. I am also very interested in women's health, particularly in menopause. I believe in a holistic approach that encompasses not only mental and emotional well-being but also nutrition and exercise, and am happy to refer clients to get expert guidance from colleague experts. My mission is to guide others through their own journeys of transformation, helping them overcome obstacles and achieve a balanced, fulfilling life.
I offer coaching that integrates insights from neuroscience and the nervous system. For those who feel stuck or helpless right now, I provide support to navigate traumatic stress through exploring their sabotaging mental patterns, their limiting beliefs, and their suppressed emotions, which can massively impact nervous system dysregulation, as trauma gets trapped in the nervous system.
Although each person's experience is unique, everyone encounters grief, loss, stress, or trauma at some point. I believe that trauma is not only something we can heal from, but that the journey of recovery leads to profound emotional changes which in return impact the neurobiology in our bodies and balance the nervous system, leading to more resilience and improved sense of wellbeing.
Working with the nervous system can disrupt cycles of intergenerational trauma, fostering healthier families and communities. It enhances our ability to understand ourselves and others with greater clarity and compassion, alleviating suffering and freeing us from the past. A regulated nervous system helps us feel more secure and safe within our ourselves mentally and physically.
Through my story, I hope to inspire you to believe in the possibility of change. No matter where you are in your journey, know that healing and growth are within reach. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering the tools and support you need to thrive.
