About

Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) is a therapeutic approach that uses guided eye movements to create rapid change in the way past experiences and emotional patterns are stored in the brain. Unlike traditional talk therapy, IEMT works directly with the neurological encoding of memory, helping individuals reduce the emotional intensity of traumatic events, resolve symptoms of PTSD, and loosen long-standing limiting beliefs. A unique feature of IEMT is its focus on the integrative pattern of change, which explores how identity and self-concept are formed and maintained. By working at the level of identity, IEMT can help people shift from being “stuck” in old narratives of fear, shame, or inadequacy into a more flexible, resourceful sense of self. Outcomes often include greater emotional stability, freedom from intrusive memories, and the ability to move beyond limiting patterns that once held a person back. 1. Session: working with suppressed emotions such as shame, guilt, regret, remorse, anger, frustration, irritability and/or the three pillars of anxiety, possibly PTSD. 2. Session: Looking at identity issues around specific problems and limiting beliefs.
